STAYCATION AT THE SCOTT RESORT & SPA
* This is a sponsored hotel post, however all opinions are mine.
This holiday season, I decided to do things a little differently. For the first time, my workplace decided to officially shutdown over the holidays and being bitten by the travel bug, I frenzied to decide on where my next destination was going to be. Call it a coincidence, but I came across The Scott Resort & Spa on social media platforms and it looked so beautiful in pictures that I set my heart on Arizona which had been on my bucket list for quite a while. If you guys are looking for just spending a staycation at a hotel or are visiting Phoenix, Arizona, I highly recommend staying at The Scott Resort & Spa.
Located in the heart of Old Town Scottsdale, this boutique resort was recently renovated to provide guests with a luxurious and upscale experience and I received nothing less during my staycation. The resort’s remodeling was inspired by a Cuban theme and it has the dreamiest indoor and outdoor decorations. Rustic wooden touches, lush green vibes and warm cozy interior make you feel in eclectic heaven. The resort has so many cute spots everywhere and is a heaven for bloggers and photographers.
After checking in, we headed straight to The Canal Club, which is a Cuban-inspired American restaurant and bar inside the resort. The indoor bar is literally one of the nicest bars I’ve ever seen and the cocktails are amazing, especially the Letter to a Friend. I also had the opportunity to eat breakfast here the morning before we headed out to explore the city and definitely recommend the Peruvian Hash! The Canal Club Restaurant also has an outdoor patio overlooking the backyard oasis and pool area. Unfortunately though since I went during the winter season, I wasn’t able to enjoy it but the patio is as stunning as the indoor area.
In terms of transportation, the resort offers free parking and even provides free shuttle service in the vicinity of 3 miles (talk about convenience)! You can also rent bicycles here if you’re feeling a little adventurous and want to explore the town at your own pace. I honestly loved the location of the resort because its walking distance to everything including the Scottsdale Fashion Square Mall, tons of restaurants, the nightlife district and the highways!
The resort has two luxurious outdoor pools and a sandy beach where you can relax and enjoy a cabana experience. During mild winter season, the pools are heated and there is also sitting areas with fire pit located right outside.
Inside the resort, you will also find their signature La Vidorra Spa which offers many spa packages and wellness services. The spa has six treatment rooms with bright and lit windows providing a tranquil and serene experience. If you are just booking a spa service, you also get complimentary access to the resort’s pool area and other amenities.
What I also really liked about the resort is that it hosts special events on certain days. On Wednesdays, they have a Juego game night and you can play dominoes, backgammon or chess while sipping on cocktails. How cool is that! You can check out their special events here.
Overall, I had the most amazing staycation at The Scott Resort & Spa. Amidst a desert, it is truly a tropical paradise where you feel like you have drifted into a Cuban dream. Its central location, eclectic decor, high class amenities and impeccable service make this the perfect resort for any occasion and I can’t wait to return back here soon!
Until next time lovelies, xoxo <3
