I was so excited when my family broke the news to me that we were staying at the Hamilton Princess hotel by Fairmont in Bermuda. Hell yeah I want to stay at a pink castle! And did you say there is an infinity pool and dock right in my backyard? Well, I will take that too! From our arrival at the hotel until our departure, it was a luxury and first-class experience to stay at the Hamilton Princess. The concierge and the staff were all extremely polite and accommodated all of our needs. Some staff members even helped me take photos for my blog which obviously means bonus points hehe.
Since I went to Bermuda with my entire family, we checked into the “Hibiscus suite” on the 7th floor. The room was very spacious and had everything that we could dream of. Not to mention, the views were to die for!
Once we settled in, I went off to explore the hotel with my bestfriend aka tripod and had the best adventure ever. The hotel is full of cute and dreamy spots to take pictures. From the pink walls to the infinity pool to the dock and the interior of the hotel, everything was picture-worthy.
Other than the infinity pool and the regular pool at the hotel, there is also a private beach which is only accessible to guests staying at the Hamilton Princess. There is a shuttle bus called the “Jitney” that takes you to the private beach at set times and brings you back. Definitely check the timings beforehand as they don’t run super often but it also saves you money from getting from the city to the West end of the city where most of the beaches are. My most favourite part of the hotel was the private beach. It is GORGEOUS!! There are so many cute spots and the rocks and cliffs make the beach very scenic. There are trails that go behind the beach so make sure you venture out there as some of the most amazing views are from the back of the beach. There is also a private beach on the other side where you can go as well as it is open for guests staying at the hotel.
There is also a restaurant at the beach club in case you are hungry and they serve drinks on the beach so you better get tipsyyyy. The beach club also has kayaks and paddleboards and you can also snorkel around the area. Now you know why it was my favourite!
There are also two restaurants inside the hotel:
- Marcus Bermuda – this restaurant has both indoor and outdoor seating and has the most breathtaking views of the water.
- Crown & Anchor – located inside the hotel right next to the lobby area in the hotel
- 1609 Restaurant – located outdoor on the terrace
Everything I tried, including room service, was delicious and the restaurants have a lot of different food options. I went there during Christmas and since it was a holiday everything in the city was closed. That’s when the hotel came to the rescue with its scrumptious meals and goodness.
Overall, my stay at the Hamilton Princess hotel was unparalleled and I could not have asked for a better hotel to host me during my stay. If you are looking for a place to stay during your vacation to Bermuda, I highly recommend staying at this pink castle!
Until next time lovelies xoxo
