There is nothing more exciting than the feeling you get when you can finally decorate and revamp your own space. After years of badly neglecting my bedroom at my parent’s house, I decided that it was high time for a bedroom makeover as it had been over five years that I had changed anything in there: no furniture, no decor, no paint, nothing. Over the years, I evolved as a person and so did my taste. My bedroom was far from a true representation of who I had become versus who I was back in my teens.
Especially, as a freelance content creator, most of my time is spent in my bedroom working away and getting my beauty sleep for early morning calls, and how could I focus on being myself in a room that is not at all relatable to me? This is why I partnered with Bed Bath & Beyond to give my bedroom the ultimate modern and glam makeover. I am so happy with all the great items I found and with the way my bedroom has turned out.
BED BATH & BEYOND
When I initially started my hunt on Bed Bath & Beyond’s online website, I had no idea about how huge the company was. Sure, the name is pretty self explanatory, but I was surprised by the insane amount of variety that they carry. There is such a diverse assortment of furniture and decor items on their website and something for everyone! They literally have everything I could ever need or think of to decorate my bedroom.
You name it, they have it – from bedroom furniture to bedding, rugs to home decor, plants and even room essentials such as diffusers and vacuums so your bedroom can smell and look its best all the time. I was able to grab the Dyson V11 Torque Drive vacuum on their website and it is such a lifesaver you guys, I can’t even. With all the constant state of chaos my bedroom is in, this is saving me so much time already! Another one of my favourite items I was able to snag was the UGG Bedding. The UGG comforter set is literally the softest thing ever and so perfect for cold Canadian winters that I don’t ever want to leave my bed. See below for links!
Another thing I love about Bed Bath & Beyond is their idea board tool. You can create an idea board for any specific home project you are working on which helps you stay organized. When I first went on the website, I felt extremely overwhelmed. There were so many options and great items to choose from that I had no idea where to begin. Thanks to the idea board tool, I was able to organize all items in one place which helped me envision what my bedroom would ultimately look like. I had such a fun time going through all the options on Bed Bath & Beyond‘s website and the whole process was so seamless with all the items delivered right at my door!

BEDROOM THEME
For my bedroom makeover, I wanted a modern and chic look, coupled with an airy feel to my bedroom, which is why I decided to go with neutral tones and pink complementary decor items. The colours I chose to stick to for my bedroom makeover were beige, white, pink and silver.
Take a look below at the before and after:

Now I would say that’s a pretty drastic change! Here are some more photos of what my bedroom looks like now.
