Whether its a cold and snowy or a summery and bright day in Toronto, one thing that we all can’t live without is food. Even better when you’re hangry (or hangover) is some brunch. I love exploring new restaurants over the weekend as there are so many always popping up in every corner in Toronto. My brunch adventures have taken me to some wonderful places and I have decided to share my top ones with you all. Better grab your wallet and get ready to cure the hangriness!
- Ufficio Restaurant / / 1214 Dundas Street West
This Italian restaurant in Little Portugal has the most modern and sleek interior. With marble tables and grey tufted dining chairs, it is a minimalist’s paradise. I had the most amazing brunch experience at Ufficio and cannot recommend it enough to everyone. The staff was super accommodating and nice and even helped my friend and I create content while brunching. I have never had that incredible of a service in my life! The brunch and dinner variety is great and everything we had on the menu tasted amazing, especially the eggs benny, potatoes and the avocado toast.
Definitely grab your friends and head to this restaurant whether it is a special occasion or just a hangry brunch day.
2. Restoration Hardware // 3401 Dufferin Street
The Restoration Hardware Gallery inside Yorkdale Mall is a four-storey flagship store which opened up in 2017. The restaurant is located on the first floor as you walk inside and oh my goodness guys, this place is the definition of heaven. You literally dine under the greenery and chandeliers where everything is sparkling and beautiful. Once you’re done shopping this is the perfect place to grab some brunch, have some mimosas and stare at the chandeliers, which is exactly what I did. Oh and definitely try their grilled cheese sandwich as it was bomb!
3. Sorelle & Co. // 161 Yorkville Avenue
This pretty cafe is the first vegan bakery and restaurant to open in Toronto. The restaurant has two other locations, one in Vaughan and one in Saks Food Hall. Since you step your feet in the restaurant, it is bakery madness. I have never seen cakes that look so good! Make sure you go super early if you want to grab a good spot as the restaurant gets packed in a jiffy! Even though I am not a vegan, the food and their cupcakes were delicious. You must try the vegetarian grilled cheese as even my boyfriend who hates anything vegan loved it!
4. Wish Restaurant // 3 Charles Street East
The first time I visited this restaurant was when I hosted my birthday brunch two years ago and I recently went back and was still surprised at the beautiful interior, the amazing food and phenomenal service received. This cute restaurant is located in Yorkville and has the most rustic, bohemian and gorgeous outdoor heated patio where you can enjoy some scrumptious brunch. Everything on their menu from the french toast to the eggs benny and salads tastes amazing. Make sure to reserve a spot in advance as this restaurant gets booked super early.
Can’t wait to return to these gorgeous brunch places soon <3 If you have visited or got a chance to visit these brunch restaurants, then definitely let me know how your experience was, or if you know any other brunch spots, I am always taking notes 😉
Until next time lovelies, xoxo.
